Do soundcards have digital DIN output, like the original Soundblaster Live! with the digital I/O bracket? My Live is having problems with newer titles with EAX, even when setting to EAX v1 (latest drivers also) Built-in soundcard is a Realtek 882, which I believe supports EAX. So should I rip out the Live and just use the Realtek over analogue (two 3.5mm leads for L/R and RR/RL) or just get a new soundcard (with digital DIN out)
What about M-Audio cards? They're supposed to have the best sound quality. Speakers will be Creative FPS 2000 digital/analogue speakers.
