Gaming Surfaces (Mouse Mats to us commoners)...

Other good thing about the QCK is that they're about £10 (ie damn cheap) and I've had mine for nearly a year with no signs of wear or damage or anything. My Exact mat on the other hand in 6 months had ripped the feet off my mouse and then 2 of the rubber feet fell off, and that was £35...

I used to use the Steelseries S&S solo hard mat, but my new mouse (razer imperator) doesnt like it and wont track properly on it, which is a shame as it is really good for gliding accross fast and smooth.

I now have a cloth steelseries QcK mat, my mouse now works properly so im happy with it. The mouse doesnt glide quite as quickly, but tbh its cloth so i cannot expect it too ;P

Having used both hard and soft i can safely say i prefer soft.

I just didn't like hard surfaces because they wore away the feet on my mouse, plus whenever you get a hair or anything under your mouse it feels like your using a pebble as a mouse mat.

Ordered. Will see how it goes.

EDIT:

Just measured it, it is HUGE.

Received it not long ago.

It is mightily big, obviously, after just using a desk for soo long, there is a lot more friction.

I also need some pads for my Logitech G9, any ideas where to get these from?

EDIT 2:

The Boogie pad as gone up £2 since yesterday.
