Downloaded latest version of Sapphire Trixx this morning.

Allows Ocing to 1300. Didn't have a lot of time with it. Currently aiming for 1200MHz core, but still not stable there at 1.207V - artifacts after a minute or two of Heaven

Not sure how high I am prepared to push the volts for 24/7 OC.

Is the asus p8z68, which looks like it should work fine.

Plus did check the case had some 3 spare slots at back (fractal define r3) and it does.

Does of course mean I will have to change my sound card to a pci-express version, or use on-board.

eyetrip what resolution, in game graphics settings and fps are you playing bf3 at? I've got CF 5850 and I'm looking for a new card. I play at 1080P everything mixed High/Medium but it doesn't drop below 60fps which is my benchmark.

Was playing BF3 yesterday at 2560x1440 using most setting on ultra except 2xAA, no blur, no fxaa and ssao.

Was generally maintaining around 40+ fps with some dips below on occasion on busy server.

Was really quite playable, and can't see someone playing at 1080p needing more than one of these for some time - provided is decent clocker.

The OP should read this:

The performance gains in BF3 are impressive.

How come? Will those performance gains be across the board for 79xx cards when using AA?

Either way, 2nd card ordered. That's if for some years now on the GPU front

Can you play at 1080P with High settings no SSAO but FXAA at 16 and let me know what FPS you get please mate. I don't want anything less that 60fps even when theres a lot going on onscreen.
