GCSE's and National Curriculum Scrapped by 2014.....O levels to replace them

Because I had already repeated myself too many times - no one is saying that immigration didn't depress wages; it's just that where it did, it was negligible and more than compensated for by government policy (which studies since the low pay commission report found).

Believe me, in this area it is more than negligible. I have friends who work(ed) in these industries and others who also run businesses whose workforces are now nearly exclusively immigrant, and the wage depression around here is significant. I know people who are on less per hour now as CIS than they were employed on the books 10 years ago, and being CIS you get none of the employed benefits, such as sick, holiday pay etc.

So, this is more than just 'I heard it from some bloke down the pub'.
