It's better than it used to be, it hasn't got the overlay but it still to me has a dull almost pastel shades to it and honestly looks/feels dated.

Apparently it gets better later on but I haven't played more than an hour or so.

Colours look fine to me the game is stunning looking with a superb use of HDR.

Lighting, colours, shadows , dark areas etc. All look better with HDR.

No point picking up the more expensive version IMO. Make sure you have a good look at what the season pass entails, it's not as much as you would hope.

I like it when they advertise HDR on a normal TV and show you images of the difference it makes, all on an old TV...

Afternoon all really enjoying this as a gears fan anyway. Don't have anyone on coms to play with yet which makes the game better

It makes quit a difference. Its not as good as Forza for HDR but still very good.

I loved it in Gears 3 but looking back now, I can barely remember it. I don't know whether it came out the same time as Mass Effect 3 which is maybe why.

It looks awesome and plays beautifully. Big step forward in my opinion.
Even getting into the story this time as well!
