Gears of War PC

No thanks....My 1080p plasma looks far better at 1080p then my 24" dell monitor does at 1200p....

Plus i clone the PC output on both my dell 24" and pioneer 50" 1080p plasma at 1920x1080....;)

1920x1200 has more pixels than 1920x1080.
I don't even want to know what happens to the display at 1920x1080 on a dell 24", I know, I'll try it when I go home.

I don't clone, I extend the display to watch videos on my 42" HDTV at 1080.
But i'm very sure it looks worse the way you are doing it.

You must be imagining things ;)

Surely you'd just get black bars on the dell using 1:1 pixel mapping as 1080p is 16:9 rather than 16:10. I imagine when he says he prefers his HDTV, he'll be talking about the overall image quality rather than amount of pixels, ie, black depth, colour accuracy and contrast. It can be much more enjoyable playing a game like GoW on a large screen too, its not the fastest game so twitch aiming isnt really needed unless you want to play really competetively online.

Like ChrisJSY said...I run 1920x1080 1:1 pixel mapped on my dell 24" and plasma when i clone my displays...

I only clone my display when i want to play games or video's on my plasma.as my plasma is not side by side with my dell 24" screen so extended desktop is useless for my needs...

Nice video review, very tempted, but i've got soooo many new games to play/coming that im not sure if i can fit in another!

May leave this one till the new year
