Hey dudes,

I'm a complete noob to the world of computer maintenance, the gpu on my old pc died a few months back and i've since replaced it with a GeForce 6200 AGP in order to recover my data. I no longer use this pc and am planning on giving it to my mum; as she only uses the computer for light browser based gaming, however the card arrived with only a heatsync and I would feel more comfortable with a fan for it seeing as these cards tend to run at high temperatures in my experience. The only fan i've been able to find that is compatibile with the AGP version so far is the Zalman VF700-Cu, but this has a pretty hefty price tag considering the pc is probably worth less than that. Does anyone have any tips or knowledge of where I might find a cheaper cooler?

Thanks in advance,

Josh.

In all honesty the Gpu will run fine passively, wont have a single problem whatsoever. If you;re worried then buy a cheap small fan, such as the antec spot cool, or a small case fan and attach it to the heatsink using cable ties or whatever you have hadny. Will do the job nice n' cheap.
