www.slizone.com doesn't appear to be working for me (firewall problems at work today). Frustrating, as most of my questions could probably be answered there.

Anyway, my question is:

Can I enable SLI mode on the GeForce 7950 GX2 range of cards without having to buy another card? Or is it Quad-SLI only? As my understanding is that you essentially have two cards running on one PCI-e slot?

Am I correct? Or do I require enlightenment?

Yeah the connection between the cards is "internal", don't need a SLI board to run it, just a compatible motherboard/BIOS.

You need to make sure that the slot your are running it from has 16x pci lanes as each GPU requires 8xlanes each, otherwise it will not run in sli.
