The OcUK branded one is £176.

It doesn't make much difference to performance and I doubt will have any effect on the pricing of 512mb models.

I read somewhere (possibly on here) that the 1gb versions dont fully utilize it for some reason or other.

Personally id rather get a 512mb version for 3/4 of the price.

Its not going to touch the 8800GTX due to having 2/3 of the memory bandwidth, it just won't be able to use the gig effectively.

exactly what I was going to say. The bandwidth isn't any bigger so the extra memory is no use.

b grade can mean a number of things...it might be as new with 1 cable missing...or it might come with just the bare card in a generic box
