I think the 2080 will be reliably 10%+/- a few @% faster than the 1080ti without the dlss stuff in play, and the 2080ti 20% faster +/- a few %, I hope the 2070 trades blows with the 1080ti without dlss and fly's past it with dlss.

Anyone seen prices on the 2070? As I'm gaming 1440p 144hz and happy with that I'm tempted to just go with the 2070 as the x70 cards are generally the smartest buy when looking at perf per £

The 2070 won't trade blows with the 1080Ti. Even using your figures you can see it would be impossible. It would mean the 2080 would be only 10% faster than the 2070, which would leave no room for any AIB cards at all.

I am expecting the 2080 to trade blows with the 1080ti, maybe 5-10% faster. And the 2070 to be between the 1080 and 1080ti in performance, maybe 10% faster than the 1080. But, I do expect the biggest performance gains to come with the 2080Ti, I am sure it will reach 45-50% faster than the 1080ti.

That's just in current games. With games using DLSS and if it works as good as the tech talk about it, performance will be a lot higher.

You know and all good fun :D

Yes bud, got a MSI Gaming X Trio 2080Ti ordered and should be with me by or on the 27th (fingers crossed)

Of course, ppl take this #@*& way to seriously, ridiculous amount of hate around here most of the time, you get to know who you can bants with and who are just disgustingly fanboyed.

I'm sure it'll be a good card, but at that price so it bloody should be. Cue the double standards around here though, high power, high noise and a crazy hot card will all of a sudden be acceptable :p

I was going to get one, but got a 1080ti instead, I can't justify those prices, killing the high end pc gaming market and I'm not supporting that.
