Think about it guys, a lot of Pc games now are rubbish console ports and when you go into your local 'Game' shop have you noticed the ever dwindling shelf of Pc games. The equivilent Pc games stores in America no longer stock Pc games at all, though they will order one for you. Times they are a changing. ( sing that bit ).

I would not worry from reports the gtx580 is only 15-20% faster than a gtx480. If you clock your gtx480 to gtx580 speeds you will gain around half of that performance back.

Yup, its not like black ops requires something amazingly powerful considering its using an engine base that was designed by Moses.

Theres really nothing on the Horizon thats gonna require a ton of horsepower. Excluding the usually half assed console ports we get..

The games might not but 3D, 3D surround, triple monitor gaming require a little more horse power. Try Metro 2033, crysis, BFBC2 on high with those configs and boom we're back down to a pretty slideshow.

But I agree games don't that much horsepower, I'm still using a 4850 and I run pretty much most games pleasantly at 1920x1080.
