Now price wise that actually seems just about reasonable compared to a 3080 FE 10GB , using the exchange rate as of now that $1249.99 = £921.16 which is kind of where i would expect an aib 3080 12gb to be considering it should offer up a small performance uplift over a standard 3080. The other prices quoted earlier are ridiculous at £1500 for the MSI one but in reality probably where the price will end up .

with them still pumping out FE what is even the point

This. Don't think the 3080 FE is EOL yet, or if it is, I got stupid lucky last week.

Wonder what the GA102 price is to AIB partners? Could be Nvidia taking a much bigger cut whilst not actually charging above RRP direct to consumer?

No 3080 12gb on the bay yet, but just a matter of time.

Remember 20% VAT will be added on too as these are not including VAT. Also FTW3 you need to be an elite member to get one ... What a joke. Now 3080s are same or more than MSRP price of the Ti model that was laughed at.

Already see prices at other places but can't list them as OCUK will class them as competitors, lets just say EVGA price is cheap compared to the ones floating about on other retailers sites.

You are forgetting sales tax for USA too that gets added on later depending on state you live in. Them prices basically have no VAT on them.

So they can get a bigger slice of the pie from AIB's. Makes sense. FE will be making money they sell out everytime (even if it is small). AIB's want some of the pie so Nvidia create another new card, up the price and here you go. 4 figures. This way it means they get more for the GPU going via the AIB's too. Basically the market the way it is Nvidia can do what they like and charge what they like and nothing can stop them.

There is no competition. 2 players in a multi billion pound market whats not to like in a business sense. Whatever they chuck out it sells.

Intel coming along is not going to scare Nvidia. This will go on for years.

ah would explain whey they seem on the cheaper side then , its a shame as £920 should be about the price of these AIB cards considering the standard fe is £650 and the 3080Ti is £1050 so would fall in line between them let alone cost as much as a 3090 did when they were 1st released

along with that extra 2 gig comes a wider memory interface and that added bandwidth is sure to increase your hash rate. :p

They are all LHR cards. So miners can go jump, the fake hacks are not real and the only hack is to use another coin not eth. Anyways mining will soon be dead to all that pay the electric bill by April in UK and europe and usa are about to get hit with a fuel price bump too.
