Ocuk saying it can go to 2.5 - 2.9 volts

This shows that geil value ram doesnt go up to what ocuk site is saying it can go to.

So can someone tell me who is right? If ocuk are wrong can they change the info on the site please?

Btw I hope this doesnt come under "no shop talk" as its not about buying or selling just want to know what i bought from them is what it says it is. As i want to know how much volts i can up to wihtout voiding the lifetime warrenty.

The OcUK website refers to the Geil Value 2x1Gb GE2GB3200BDC kit, where as the Geil website is referring to the whole value range, not any specific kit, so I would have thought the OcUK description is more accurate.

But ocuk from 512mb to 2gb range has upto 2.9 volts and as u said geil say the entire range is to 2.65 not 2.9.. volts. So its a bit contradicting sorta.

Oh I didn't check the other Geil Value modules, I though Geil were generalising across the range whilst OcUK had specific details for each set.

In that case I'm not sure who's right, why the big worry though?

Well mate said if it can do up to 2.9 volts then its highly ocable ram and therefore dont need to worry as much about using a divider to keep it at 200mhz.

All the Geil Value range can take 2.9V without problems, I ran the 2Gb set a 2.9V no probs.

Its not what I'd call "highly overclockable" but its good for value RAM :)

i think skeeter doesn't want to break his warranty tho, its not the question if it can take 2.9 volts, its the question if it doesn't void warranty at that voltage...

Yeah id manually push it to its warrenty limit no prob but beyond then thats just asking for trouble from a non overclocked by nature.

My 2 x 1gig value Ram has run at 2.95V for 11 months, at the time of buying the Geil website said it can run at up to 2.95V, i even emailed them to ask and they confirmed this, i have run it stable at 230 but currently on a divider as below
3700SD at 2.65. 265 x 10 at 333 (mem at 221 with 2.5/3/3/7).
Stable as a stable thing.
