Hi guys

I am looking for some tech advice. My granddad is 89 and is living alone. He wont come to live with any members of the family as he likes his independence.

He is getting on and gets confused at times and we are looking something we can put on his key ring so it he leaves a location it will tell us.

The only place he normally goes is to his local shop which is about 50 metres away. So we are looking something that is small enough to fit on a key ring that will notify us if he leaves his own area.

We need it to be key ring size as he wont carry a phone but he always remembers to bring his keys.

Cost is no problem as we will be sorting out any costs for it :)

Regards

I have a TK 102 tracking my camper van. It running off a 12-5v usb psu.

Don't forget these all use batteries than need charging!

Just googles the blooth trackers and they go about 10 meters. not enough for what you need.

Just thought...

On geo fence i have to set it for about 4000 meters.

If it looses gps signal it uses the phone mast as location - it's about 2 miles away!

Doesn't happen very often but then i get a hit of messages saying the van has left the area :o.
