Has anyone here ever tried makeing egg toasties on one of these and did it work ok? i.e. the egg doesn't run off because mine is slanted.

why not just try and find out? what's the worst that could happen, cleaning?!

I just thought i'd ask to see how it worked out for others but yes I will try it regardless and if it makes a mess then il clean it I live on my own so I do all the cooking/cleaning !

Prop up the front end with something, a book or a cat or whatever.

Thanks for that I will try it ... bf seems convinced that it wont work as the egg will run out due to the slant but im determined to proove him wrong mr know it all !

Im a female :p and no I mean toasted bread with an egg in between ..

Surely you fry the egg separately and then put it in the toast...

I really don't think putting a raw egg between two bits of bread and toasting them in a George Foreman is a good idea....

Are you wanting to put raw egg inbetween two slices of bread? And then use Foreman to cook it?

Frying pan + toaster

Well that was the plan but is there not a way of doing it by makeing a hole in the bread then breaking the egg into it.

Geroge Foreman no, in a sandwich toaster it's great. Although does take a while.

Stop being lazy and get out the frying pan :p

This. get a piece of bread and cut a circle out. Pop both in a frying pan and fry one side. Flip over crack an egg into the hole and fry till cooked. Place bread circle on op of egg, splash some kechup or brown sauce on and enjoy.
