German court rules circumcision is 'bodily harm'

Has anyone here had an adult circumcision?

How painful lect was it afterwards, and as an adult obviously there is the fact that you get erections can they bust the stitches (if there are any)/cause pain for a time afterwards?

in the past it had a medical reason tank, it's not meant to be sexual.

Now days though there is medical equipment that should be used as it is cleaner and much much safer for the child.
I know its not meant to be sexual! But seeing a mans mouth around a babies penis is disturbing to me strangely enough, is it not warped to you?

it's odd sure but as long as it's not being done for sexual reasons it's not quite shocking.

i find the cutting the piece of the child more shocking than kissing it better afterwards as it were :p

Mutilation and lolly pops all in the name of religion. I'm so glad I'm not bringing children into this ****ed up world. :o

just as im failing to understand how you're comparing a person who chooses not to get anymore education to someone else choosing wether someone should be circumcised.
Yes, you most definitely are failing to understand, as that's not what I'm comparing.

My comparison was:

A **** parenting without circumcision Vs. a great parenting with circumcision.

And it was in relation to the question "Which would be more harmful/have more lasting effect?"

A **** parenting would have a more devastating effect on that individual's life.

Nothing to do with a 16 year old not choosing to partake in FE.

Well it's not always a choice is it?

Many people simply cannot afford to continue their education (or are simply not "cut out for it") and have to get a job.

But yes it is a bizarre comparison to be making.

I don't see how any of that legitimises parents having their kids circumcised, though.

indeed it very much seems to be a case of saying "well you can't solve X problem so why even bother trying to solve Y".

I'm sure Dolph will be a long shortly with the correct Latin expression for this.
