gettin my K750i refurbished?

My trusty k750i has taken another tumble and now is in need of a overhaul anyone know anywhere online i can send my phone and the new cover i bought, so they can fit it and generally clean it up? dont fancy taking it apart myself

took it to my local phone shop and they spent 20 mins trying to sell me another phone :rolleyes:

I don't know how much it costs everywhere but last time I went into Carphone Warehouse to enquire about getting mine fixed they said it would cost £80 flat fee, at the time I could get a new one for about £120 and they are even cheaper now. It might not be particularly ecologically sound but it is probably cheaper to simply buy a new one.

will have a look on fleabay later was hoping to get it repaired for about £35-40, i had a K800i didnt like it so got rid, nice enough phone but a bit to big and the crappy camera cover opened everytime in my pocket drove me mad :mad:

Yes, but only on vodaphone or O2.

edit: it's unlocked on O2? i've read so many conflicting posts on forums about O2 locking phones.
Most people agree that contract O2 phones are unlocked, some say payg are locked, some say all are unlocked.

O2 Contacts are always unlocked - I've had 3 and not had a locked one

Back in the nokia 3310 days I had an O2 PAYG which, too, was unlocked. But I haven't had a PAYG phone since so can't guarantee it now

If by a few quit you mean £25+++ then sure

(but maybe its cheaper for the k800i) .

Just having my k810i unlocked. Cheapest place I found that would do it was £25. And I thought unlocking the N73 was bad!

Carphone warehouse sell a unbranded phone, its definately unlocked - the guy even used it as a selling point to me over getting the phone elsewhere.

Sorry just so I know - are CPW selling an unlocked k750i or k800i? (I might suggest my gf get one if it's a k800i).

Oh and people just thought ide let you know if you buy a phone on contract and you unlock it this voids your warranty and insurance.

update time, not had much luck finding someone to fix my phone

found a video clip online and managed to take it apart, clean it and reassemble and the camera works again
