Hi i have 4 sticks of geil 6400 ultra ram and my q6600 wont go above 3.4ghz no matter what (boots into windows fine just one of the cores fails in prime) and i know the previous owner had it at 4ghz and my board is a great OC'er, so im sure its NB volts, however my bios has it under a different name and just has options like +0.5, +1 etc, how much should i increase it and does it affect temps as much as vcore?
The chip is great, it runs at 3.4ghz at only 1.35 vcore so theres definantly room for improvement, its a low vid chip (i think 1.2375 or something similar), So any other tips of getting it stable at 3.6ghz would be appreciated.
