I am currently running dual boot with XP and VISTA64 and want to get rid of the VISTA as its running on an old harddrive that sounds like its on the way out.

If I unplug it will still come up with the option of selecting which OS I want.

I dont want to do a fresh install, so is there any other way of removing this?

Thanks

start>run 'sysdm.cpl'. Go to advanced>settings> startup and recovery.

should be a bit 'system startup' or somethiong like that... click edit there and delete the entry for vista.

Edit: or err yes, boot.ini.
