I know it's probably been asked umpteen times before but.....
I've been out of the loop for a while regards the latest PC technology, and have lost track of things, but I'm planning on building a new system soon around the following : -
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-029-OB
Gaming wise, I'll be using the system mainly for FSX so want the best and most future proofed card I can get as I'm not someone who upgrades on a regular basis!
I see the GTX 580 is the latest offering from NVIDIA, and hear rumblings of the latest ATI offerings soon.
But I'm hoping to build before Christmas and was wondering if I should just bite the bullet and splash out on the Gainward GeForce GTX 580 Golden Sample 1536MB (when it's available) as it offers the fastest clock speed (important for FSX) and it seems to be the top of the range 580 at present and fairly future proof (if there's such a thing). Or Should I go the ATI route and save my self a few quid and get the XFX ATI Radeon HD 6870 which seems good bang for buck?
So,to sum up, any advice would be most welcome!
