GFX CARD + PCI EXPRESS MOTHER BOARD FOR £140 - SPEC ME

Well for that you could probably get an Asrock dual mobo and a 7600GS.l

Do you have a decent agp card as you could use thatwith the asrock mobo

What do you havealready. it may be worth selling what you have to increase your budget. Id still go for the asrock mobo, but then you could get a beefier gfx card

ive got a 9800xt but it has problems, i think its overheated somewhere along the line

i basically only want the gfx card to run counterstrike 1.6 and souces flawlessly

that should do ya, alittle over budget, but gives ya the option of any dual core cpu in the future and if you upgrade to an x1800/1900 then you can go crossfire later on, when the prices come down, future proof board for quite a while, couldnt see any nvidia stuff i liked gpu+mb for 140 that would be future proof for a while, but then someone might

Don't go for the Crossfire board with the RD480 chipset.. it's shocking and nForce4 will blow it to shreads.
