I believe some companies have international warranties, but not all & it is possible if youre card goes bad you will have to return to the states (region of purchase) for an RMA.

It all depends on the company's policy.

For instance, I purchased my monitor from Germany as it was cheaper that way. I contacted Eizo before I did this and they confirmed that the warranty follows the monitor regardless of which country it is in, the only stipulation being they have to have a branch in the country you are in.

Got a new evga 8800gtx winging its way over. Never really thought much about the warranty till after i ordered it.

Confuses me how some companies can be really uppity on warrenties. When its all said and done its THEIR product nomatter what region it was bought in so i don't see why they should have the right to say you bought it there and not here so you've no warranty. Especially when it comes to pc components which obviously are universal.
