just watched it on C4. saw the addy earlier and kinda laughed thinking back to watching it as a kid, then kinda realised i actually wanted to see it again.

so after just laughing through it for all the right and wrong reasons, i can definitely say, it's a classic in my book. it's probably a lot to do with nostalgia but i can't help thinking if any of the actors were swapped it'd be ruined.

i laughed out at loads of lines in the film that i probably didn't appreciate as a kid.

the bit that nearly made me cry was right at the end when they are coming down from the top of that building. ray (aykroyd) is congratulating louis (moranis), telling him he's a lucky guy etc but says they'll need to run some tests. then egon (ramis) says 'we'll probably need to get a sample of your brain tissue' and in typical moranis slurred speach he guy goes 'yeah sure thing'. brilliant.

sorry bit pointess really but this film made me feel like a kid, really enjoyed seeing it again after a long time.
