Bought the sapphire one at release for £480, wish I'd held off as I've not been able to really make use of the graphics card due to not being able to play games due to only having the stock cooler on the 4770k getting in the 90ocs. Been meaning to sort out a wc loop for best part of a year now.
Tempted to get the sapphire one plus a water block(already got one ek nickel csq one from the wc part sale a few months back) to go xfire once I eventually sort out the loop. Just need to decide what size tubing to go for.
Will a thin xspc 360 radiator be ok for 290x xfire with 4770k @4.2-4.5ghz or will I need a thicker radiator(nemesis gtx 360 worth extra over the sr1 360?). Also will the corsair ax860 be enough?

Oh and how long is this price on for? Till tomorrow/whenever the stocks arrive?

Hmm tempting for my brothers new Christmas pc build. . Was gonna get a xfx 290 custom cooled card, was trying to keep away from reference cards. But this might change things.

According to someone on one of the threads in the graphics card section the 290/x etc will support dx12.

I'm tempted to get the sapphire one along with the ek water block, going for the ek water block as I already have one. Is there any performance difference between the different 290/x water blocks? Also is a back plate needed or can you do with out?

Until stock sells out, we have 250 of the Powercolor and only 10 of the Sapphire.

I currently have two 7850's in crossfire. Am I looking at a decent performance bump by going to a single 290X?

Been thinking about it, tho I'm seriously tempted I may have to give it a miss as it's going to cost me like £500. £300 or so for the the card plus water block, 360+240 rads plus fitting and tubing.
