Gigabyte (AM2) Northbridge Temperature

Hi guys, I've just bought a new AM2 system, using a gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2G mainboard. My problem is that the passively-cooled northbridge chip (Geforce 6100) is reaching temperatures of 43 celcius at idle according to the hardware monitor - it is scolding to touch, Is this normal?

If everything is working i wouldnt let it bother you.

Ok thankyou, would upgrading the heatsink to something like the
Zalman ZM-NB47J be worth my while or would this invalidate any warrenty I have with the motherboard?
