Hi all,
I have a Gigabyte GA75748 (Socket A) mobo. It has a very strange problem recognising RAM. Basically, I have 2 1GB DDR400 sticks. The mobo has 3 slots on it with the manual saying it supports upto 3GB of RAM. The problem is, each of my 1GB sticks only reads as 500MB in the bios and windows no matter what combination I use so it always thinks it's 1GB RAM instead of 2?!....even 1 on its own is seen as 500MB!

Anyone know what this could be?
Cheers in advance for any help.
