Hi,

i realise there is a ds3/4 thread, i'm looking through it, but without the search it is taking some time.

Wonder if you can point out any obvious bios settings you change when setting the board up.

i've posted in general hardware that my system (mobo combined with 6300) is taking over a minute to boot and get to a usable state.

it is taking 30 secs to get to the o/s load screen so wondering if im missing anything obvious to do with the mobo config/bios setup.

cheers........

Have you set the speed, voltages and timings for your RAM? How fresh is the windows install and are all drivers etc.. installed? Any overclocking?

not set the timings for my ram, cpu-z 140 shows the timings as expected of 12-4-4-4.

voltage for my ram is set at +0.2 in the bios giving me 2.0, range of the memory is 1.9-2.2

totally fresh install, chipset drivers installed, this issue being on my previous setup when it was overclocked, so tried the overclock on the fresh install with no difference, reset it to default and its still the same.

You have not mentioned which chipset you're using.......

P35 or 965P ?

The BIOS setup in my P35 DS3P differs slighty from my old 965P DS3P.
apologies its the old 965p chipset.
