My friend has had a problem with his pc for a while whereby it when turned on it would display the motherboard logo then the screen would go black then back to the mother board logo screen. On some advice from some one he told him it was an issue with his mobo and cpu!? Dont know how he came to the conclusion but my friend bought a new mobo and cpu.
Well now the same thing still happens! He bought a gigabyte ep45-dsp3 and an intel chip. When it turns on the diagnostic leds all come on and dont go out. What does this mean? Does it help any?
Ive tried removing ram sticks and the like but since i some time does boot into linux then its unclear as to the actual cause!
Any help would be very much appreciated!
