Gigabyte G33M - 2.1 Sound

I have just installed a gigabyte G33M motherboard and I'm having trouble getting any sound out of it. I have the usual 6 audio conectors on the back of the motherboard (centre/sub out, rear out, side out, line in, front out, mic in) but the manual says for two channel audio connect the jack to headphone or line which isn't one of the sockets listed. Simple question is, where the hell do I plug my speakers in. The speakers are creative with sub and two speakers (connected via sub) and just a standard stereo 3.5mm jack connector.

Do you have colours on the jacks?

The main jack will go into the green connector, for the other connectors you'll most likely use orange and black.

I have two green jacks, I currently have the speakers plugged into the "front speaker" out. Still no sound though

EDIT: I've tried it with some headphones and it appears to work. Must be something wrong with my speakers.
