Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H dual video output?

Hi,

Quick question, can you use both the DVI and VGA outputs on the Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard at the same time? I'd like to run 2 monitors, but not sure if I need to buy another gfx card for that?

(Note 2) The DVI-D port does not support D-Sub connector by adapter.
(Note 3) Simultaneous output for DVI-D and HDMI is not supported.

Doesn't say you can't use D-sub + DVI/HDMI at the same time so I assume it's possible.

It's a shame you didnt look at the user manual, which I have just looked at here

On page 22 at the top it shows the 'Dual Display Configurations' that can be used on this motherboard.

You cant have dual monitors on the digital connections as Redmint pointed out.

DVI and VGA can be used at the same time no problem as can HDMI and VGA too.

Its a shame indeed.. But I didnt have the manual handy when I thought about it.
