Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 CPU support

Hi guys,

Have a friend who's looking to buy this board.

Does anyone know whether or not this would support a Xeon 3210 CPU??

If so what cooler would you recommend also?

The support list doesn't list any of the Xeons, but the X3210 will run fine in that board from the F8 BIOS (F7 if it's an earlier rev).

As for coolers, if he's not overclocking then the stock fan is fine. If he is overclocking then the best cooler he can afford will be called for.
