Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 fan headers - control speed?

I know this motherboard has a number of fan headers.

1 x CPU fan header
3 x system fan headers
1 x power fan header
1 x North Bridge fan header

Does anyone know which of these fan headers are PWM?

If one of more of these are PWM (i'm guessing at LEAST the CPU one is) how are the fan speeds decided upon/set?

If there are non-PWM fan headers, can they control fan speed by varying voltage? Again, if so, where are the fan speeds set and can the fan speed by adjusted dynamically based on temp sensors?

Cheers in advance,

great thanks - and is there any way to control the 3 pin jobbies via software or am i just better off plugging those in to a fan controller?

how are the pwm speeds set and are they reactive to temp sensors somewhere? I guess the cpu one is - but what about the other one?

PWM only seems to work on the F8 bios and up and only on the CPU header at that.

To enable PWN you set the PWM function in the bios then you set the required temps/fan speeds in Easytune - i.e. 10% @ 30c cpu temp and 100% @ 70c cpu temp - it will the ramp between the two speeds depending on the cpu temp.

All the other fan headers are fixed voltage.

I'd use the f9e beta bios.

Use the two PWM fans with the Akasa cable here:-

to connect them both to the CPU pwm header on the mobo.

Sorry to bring back an old post but, how do i flash the bios using this board I have never done it before on any motherboard.

Also would i need to re-enter all my settings to get the clock speed (4ghz) I have now or would that still be saved in my profile. Im after flashing the board in the hope the PWM fan control will start working.
