Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H, Onboard GFX?

What onboard gfx chip does the Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H mobo have, i cant find any definite specs on it, what can it be compared to?

The motherboard doesn't have a graphics chip, it just supports the new Clarksdale processors from Intel which contain a graphics core.

It's basically very similar to their 4500 series onboard graphics, but slightly faster.

The graphics are intergrated into he new i3 cpu

Ah ok, so is it Nvidia based or ATI? So if using the cpu's intergrated graphics, does this have a knock on effect to the actual performance of the cpu, or are they kept separate? Also what is the 4500 series onboard comparable to for pci-e cards?

Neither, it's Intel-based. Doesn't affect CPU performance, core is separate. Graphics performance is right at the bottom end - pretty useless for 3D stuff, but decent for regular desktop use and media playback.
