My first post as this forum, so first..
Hi everyone!
Secondly, I am about to build my first PC but before I start I needed some information about the above board, Gigabyte GA M59Sli, I was looking at the S4 version when I spotted that the S5 is almost identical, the only difference is that the S4 has 8 SATA connections [S4 got 6], 2 eSATA connections, by cable [S4 none], and that the S5 has "Silent-Pipe / Crazy Cool" as Thermal Solution, and thats what I need your help with..
What is the difference, will it make my mobo run more silent then the S4 or what does it mean? Sorry for such a n00b question, but I don't have the foggiest idea what it means..
Also, is it any difference in using eSATA or a normal External HDD through USB?
If you want to have a look at the comparison table here is the Clicky.
Cheers
Tom
PS I hope I don't offend anyone by asking a question for a AMD mobo, considering most of you seem to be using Intel mobo's!
