Seems like there is a new DS3P revision (2.0) out.
From the pictures of it on Gigabytes homepage it has a new, more advanced, cooling that reminds me of ASUS P5K-E.
Looks like a big improvment from previous revs.

i am also looking for a p35 ds3p rev 2 board
having been told by gigabyte uk sales that rev 2 boards shoud be with the end retailer by the end of sept, i was hoping to see some online retailers selling them by now.
perhaps gibbo will hopefully read this thread and perhaps can give us an idea if and when overclockers can expect to get stock of the rev 2 boards. :)

I've got the rev1 board, which is great, except one thing.. it won't let me to 2.0 ratio on memory, only 2.5 upwards  which means my memory is being overclocked more than needed really. Will have to look into it.

My rev1 P35-DS3P has the x2.0 memory multiplier.

Which CPU are you running?

My P35C-DS3R rev 1 is running 400MHz x 2 (stock mem speed). Strangely, if I overclock the memory even one iota, Vista refuses to wake from sleep but otherwise functions perfectly...but I've updated the BIOS since that so I may try again. There've also been various updates that may have solved it.

Anyone got any more information on p35 ds3p Rev 2 boards?
Anyone managed to purchase a Rev2 boards at all from anywhere ?

The DS3P is out of stock atm, can gibbo or anyone tell us if the new stock will be rev 2? looking to place an order soon, would like the new version.

I emailed them about this a couple of weeks ago. The reply said "We are unable to tell you what revision the boards are"

Can't understand whats so hard about going to have a look

When companies such as Gigabyte introduce a new revision do they print the revision on the box, or is the revision just stamped on the motherboard. If the latter, how are you gonna know which revision your getting for your money ? Some revisions are cosmetic, others are not and may represent major changes to a motherboard, personally I want to know what I'm buying before parting with my hard earned!

If the revision is printed on the box, and the revision is important to me then I would spend my money with a retailer / etailer
that's prepared to advise me on the revision, even if that means spending a little more!
