Almost no-one has bought a DDR3 motherboard simply because the economics don't stack up. You're buying a £60 motherboard and £140 for 2Gb RAM. For that same £200 Incl. you could have had a £130 X38 motherboard and 4Gb of PC6400 RAM. And you've got 14 days worth of warranty on the motherboard. That's poor economics, especially if your place of work has a trade account and they will let you buy on it. I'd send the DQ6 back and an X38 board and some nice DDR2 RAM instead.

well yeah but least with the p35 i can oc more i don't plan to use crossfire as i have a 8800 ultra so i won't need the better cf support of the x38 but will use the better oc of the p35 with the ddr3 and a 8400 will be better in the long run from what ive seen on review sites and in the long run the new 45nm cpu with new mem will clock better

the P35T_DQ6 is normaly 120 quid new and on of the best you can buy for oc ive heard ive got a e6600, asrock sata 2 and 2gb 6400 at the min

so for 140 i can have a 8400 2gb ddr3 1330 and a dq6, as i have someone intrested in buying all my old mb mem and cpu for 150 which covers the ddr then the

8400 for 120 im sorted :)
