Gigabyte Gaming OC 2080ti Problem -do I RMA?

I had to perform a BIOS update on my Gigabyte 2080 gaming overclock to stop that happening although I still use a custom fan curve. You'll probably find if you set a fan curve in Afterburner with minimum fan speed above about 33%, the fans will run continuous at idle with less noise. Anything less than 33% fan speed can result in that stop/start issue.

I have the twp of the three fans spinning like crazy with the third fan sat idle again. This was the original problem.

Have just spoken to a really helpful member of the OcUK staff and am now RMA'ing and replacing the card.

For a card to be at 29 degrees with 2 of the three fans going mental with the third idle something is clearly wrong.

Update:

Received a lovely replacement 2080ti from Overclockers today. After 6 weeks without a gaming pc I now have one and it's not making a racket nor stopping etc. You don't realise what you have until it's gone.

Can I please thank Jargan and the OcUK team for sorting the matter especially in these difficult circumstances.
