Hi there

This card is quieter than stock and a lot faster and the OC performance is unreal. This is easily the best GTX 470 card on the market in every criteria. :D
 
ok thanks. I might going to order it and ocuk please - don't remind me of special promo deal next week of this card of discount deal if I am buying it later today or this weekend.

1) got a nice oc 4.3 i7 with HT
2) got a nice 2 x ocz SSD in Raid 0 (read and write over 530mb/s)
3) got nice memory fastest

and now might getting this graphic card will be even greatest better benchmark and gain a better folding scores! and a better flight in graphic coming soon (x-plane 10)

prices change bulldog, but these cards are great deals already, you wouldnt be dissapointed.

considering a second 480 myself to power my new monitor ;)
 
Can you advise me which is the best monitor to go along with this great 470 card ? As I still got old proview 568 17" MONITOR about 10 years old.

We won't be doing any deals on GTX 470 SOC, its a very special card, with very limited stocks, if anything price will go up, any price movements will be small.

This card is very specialised, just had a look at one and even the shroud around the fans is metal, no plastic rubbish, kudos to Gigabyte for building such high quality product.

Infact I think Gigabyte and MSI are definetely producing the highest quality graphics cards on the market at the moment. :)

Be careful when you say best. ;)

The best is the 30" DELL nothing comes close to it.

If your talking best value and something to make your jaw drop then look at the Samsung P2450H or Dell U2311H, two gorgeous monitors.

The Samsung is 2ms and 24", perfect for gaming.

The Dell U2311H has superior viewing angles and better colour production but more suited for more professional word like CAD, Photos etc. though it is fine for games.

Well I got my 470 SOCs installed at the weekend, operation went smoothly. I used to run my GTX275s @ 80% fan, but have been able to leave these on stock fan settings, so they are cooler and quieter than the GTX275s. Very fast. Don't think much of the Gigabyte OC tool, but it's the hardware I was interested in. I'd recommend them to others.
