Just got a:
Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2 NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i Chipset (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
from OCUK, have a Q6600 and 4 gigs of corsair ram,
other bits are from an older 939 setup.
Upgrade went well, installed drivers from the CD that came with board (didn't connect to net to upgrade just yet), ran fine for a day, then this morning, won't POST. in fact won't even power on, the psu fan spins a bit, then nothing.
ordered a B-grade ASUS mATX 775 board and a new BeQuiet PSU from OcUK, as I don't have enough spare bits to test out the bits, but am pretty sure its the mobo, as it won't draw power with all peripherals out, and the psu will still power the old setup no problems.
was wondering if the board is commonly known to have this kind of probs, or suffer from the DS3, 4 and D6Q problems that are a sticky on this board (next time need to read before buying....), and what kind of luck I would have RMA'ing the thing.
