Why on earth would any one buy one it's not going to be much better than other much cheaper boards bad move by gigabyte I think to pricey

That NIC is a waste of time. No better than a good Intel NIC.

.. just noticed that the mobo isn't even SandyBridge! Whoever is doing purchasing at OCUK should have given this one a miss.

I really can't see anything with this motherboard that justifies it being £150+ dearer than an Asus Rampage III Extreme.
