Gigabyte Z97-D3H ATX Z97 Ive made a booboo

i plugged a dvd drive to burn a windows 10 install disk for a mates PC (that cant boot usb) when i removed the SATA cable, the port came out with it

this has left me temporarily without one of my SSD but nothing major on it, are these easy enough to fix back in, can i just align the pins and put a blob of superglue on the plasitc parts?

Are you using all the SATA connections? if any of the interconnects came with it I doubt superglue will help.

Do you not have access to a soldering iron or someone that has one?

non of the interconnects came away. the pins are left intact in the motherboard, just the plastic shroud came off

Should be an easy fix like you stated above.I would put a bit of epoxy glue instead as superglue crystallizes and can look a bit tacky if visible.

fixed , tiny bit of super glue, aligned the pins, the socket actually clicked back in to place, i wonder if there are even soldered in the first place
