Pike, I don't know anything about you or her, age social background etc. but honestly very few folk are shocked by a little light hearted flirting, even if it hints strongly at sex. At some point your going to have to go out on a limb, if you play it safe chances are she'll think you're merely looking for friendship and chat.

Use your head, keep it dignified and polite with a dash of sauce on the side, inject a little humor and I'm sure she won't take offense

It's an open ended question (you're not interviewing her) and she gets to talk about herself... You could even try something like "So tell me... what makes you different from all the other cute girls?
