Girl who didn't wanna wash up burns house down

"She apologised and was spared a custodial sentence because of her difficult upbringing"

dont mean to sound harsh, but i know people who have had a difficult upbringing and not be so pathetic as to do something like this!

From the article:

I quote:
Brenda Spencer, 16, told police that she opened fire on a San Diego school in 1979, killing two men and injuring eight students, because she “didn’t like Mondays”. The explanation inspired the Boomtown Rats’ song

Why did she bother to do the washing up if she was gonna burn the house down!!?

Maybe she thought it would win her some brownie points. "Yes dad i burnt the house down, but on the plus side i did do the washing up."

As her father id of asked the judge to lock her up, and make sure she was made to work in the prisons kitchen, that should teach her about life!!

Or at least why Marigolds are a girls best friend.

Someone should set fire to her.

"Sorry, i set fire to my child, i had a difficult upbringing, i can attend a firesetters programme though"

Lol though, would be very funny tbh if there wasn't any danger to anyone like the neighbors.

Simon Dent, representing the girl, said that she had not been in trouble with the police before and that she did not appreciate the danger that she would cause to others when she lit the fire.

“The offence appears to arise from a long-standing anger over the breakdown of her parents’ relationship and then being treated unfairly, as she saw it, by her father and her father’s new partner,” Mr Dent said.

“Now that she does appreciate the risk, she is very sorry and would like to assure the court that it will never happen again.”

Not saying that excuses it, of course, but it does put the event in context.
