all taken with the 24-105L. most if not all the shots taken at the gumabll were with this lens. it was my first proper outing with the lens and i have to say i really like it a lot. got some awesome results with it.

Was hoping you would have took some with the 17-40, do you have any samples from it?

Great thanks, the reason i ask is that i have a 17-40 and would like to compare IQ.
 
Pah not as good looking as most of the medical students I was in the same pub as earlier. ;)

hehe you lot are hard to please arent you :D

unfortunatly the "starts and there cars" bit was very hard to do as most of the "stars" kept well out of the way right until near the start and i had to camp out at my position from just before 2pm, and wait till 4pm just to get a good spot.

i do have a few pics of Alex Roy and Michael Ross of Team Polizei that i will find and post up shortly but they are mainly candid stuff of them in and around the car or signing autographs.
 
I like them all, especially the one with the lip ring second photo down on the left, which is unusual for me as I don’t usually go for lip jewellery on people. But she is very nice.

Perhaps a sign of me getting older.


Oh and come on guys, none of you would kick them out of bed for farting would you! ;)
 
was this in london? if so, i was there in the morning when there were very few people. got really close to all the cars...

yes it was in london mate, although the closest anyone got to most of the cars was just behind the barriers on the main street where they had them lined up.

there were some cars that were in an open location muh further back up the street though, i think it was called waterloo place

Anymore pics , just a question , did the pictures you took with your Canon 350D , are they straight from the camera or have u used photoshop to jazz them up , i am thinking about getting a Cannon 350D , are they hard to use as i am new to Photography ? dose it come with standard lens , what lens did you use for the Gumball Rally 3000 shots , was that a standard lens ?
