Girls on the Internet

I'm not talking about these forums by the way

Yeh you are;) Publicwhobreach's 'hello, I have a boyfriend' thread. Cue everyone accepting challenge to rid her of boyfriend or get her norks out.

Personally, whilst I don't mind any swearing/rude jokes etc on a family forum, I find it pretty tasteless when people are shouting 'get your rat out', and think the ban hammer should be swinging a bit more often in that case.

I notice this too. It is a bit silly.

I subconsciously change how I present myself around girls that I find very attractive, which can occasionally descend into serious 'shanter' (**** banter), but I've never done so through the means of the internet (I hope).

The wierd thing is the guys on the internet who will do everything to try and impress a girl online or beg her to talk to them, but in real life won't approach a girl in the pub and offer to buy her a drink.

Just seems like a bit of cowardice, that's all ..

Some people don't have the social skills or confidence to do that in a pub or any other setting. Calling them cowards is a bit harsh
