give me some starting values for overlclocking my GTX 470

Mines 850 stable (would be 24x7 stable) - it just takes a lot more voltage to get that extra 50MHz so I run it 800 24x7 to be on the safe side (and it runs cooler/quieter).

800/1600/2000 1000mv, for 850/1700/2000, just guessed lol put it upto 1025mv playing BC2 temps about 51'c.

Think my problem was not checking 'force constant voltage' in msi afterburner, I can now get 750 stable

yeh water helped my 470, seems ok in warhead tool, heaven and furmark, max temps?

It took 1125mv to get stable at 850 for me in SLI, I use that 24/7 and it's rock solid, (using a modded bios). The most annoying thing for me is the damn pump vibration, it's far harder to isolate it when it's attached to the rad, i'm thinking of offloading them and getting a couple of 580s if they're any good.

Take it out. Havent had a CD rom in my main machine for a couple of years for this reason. Just use one across the network with another of your machines. Or maybe go external.

Had to plug one in to install W7, and thats all.
