*** GLASGOW MEET 2012 - October 27th ***

I can't believe you didn't all read my post and immediately change the date.

Sorry bob, unfortunately meets always work better if the date is defined and fixed in advance otherwise you get loads of folk saying "I can't make that but I could make this date" etc and it just becomes a nightmare.

Ahleckz, doesn't have to be JJs. Mob rule and all that.

I'm going to hijack this thread and I'm not even ashamed about it!

Recently got few job opportunities in Glasgow. Can anyone kindly give me an idea how Glasgow is like? Lived in London all my life

**** the cathouse. I'll get my baws kicked if I turn up when she's out.

I think it should be many drinks at the arc and then onto seventh heaven to be honest. Might cause a financial crisis in the Uk though.

Glasgow is a great city, plenty of places available for rent and if you stay in the city there's an amazing nightlife/dining on offer. Lots for tourists to do/see and it's rated as the number one shopping destination outside London.

If you have a car you can head further North/island hop to take in some amazing experiences/scenery.

I travel a lot for work and have been in most of the major cities, I've yet to find one that compares to Glasgow.

For the record I'm English and have never had any hassle, you'll find the Scots a very friendly bunch. Sure like anywhere there's a dodgy element but stay out of the dodgy places and you'll be fine. I've had more hassle in England with my somewhat muddled accent than I've ever had in Scotland.
