Wasn't 100% sure where the post this. Hotmail seems to have stopped allowing POP3 access as of September, which means I can no longer receive emails into my Gmail account. I use my Gmail account to receive emails from about 3-4 Gmail address, my Hotmail, my own domain email addresses...

I'm not getting anywhere trying to find a straightforward solution online, what I need to do here. Any ideas?

Until GMail supports OAuth (Google Workspace may be different) for connecting to/importing emails then your best bet might be use your email clients to aggregate your emails rather than trying to funnel it all through a single mailbox.

Hmn this is quite problematic. Gmail is my client essentially. I’m surprised more people are not stuck with this!

There is the Gmailify option which might help you, it's suppose to connect to third-party mailboxes via IMAP, but i can't say i've delved too much into it as i ended up just using dedicated email clients (apps and desktop).

I have multiple old hotmail accounts and I just set up forwarding to send all mail to my gmail account.
It seems like this might be the easiest thing to do now. I never send emails from my Hotmail, just use it for the sites I least trust to sign me up to spam :p

Weird there’s no solution though. Glad I’m not the only one that couldn’t find one.
