dodgy graphics - looks like its alpha

how battered do you get when they surround you!

lol, ah well.

i love the game.

got over 200 hours playing killing floor,it is a team based game and does help when there is some good players with you.

Play with real friends and it's an excellent game. Play with randomers = meh

This has been my response to half a dozen or so people regarding KF

I never really did get into KF. A few days afterwards I managed to get LFD2 in the sales and it is a more fluid game imo. Then I kindda got bored of the maps and been playing other games since :D
What servers are OCer's on usually?

i bought in sale but it dont work

Can't really argue against that point, but then it's one of those things that either bothers you or it doesn't.

KF is easily in my top 10 games. If they did a remake with 10 times the number of players and zombies then it could be the best game ever.

It would help if you were playing with a decent team and of course the idea is to avoid being surrounded :/

Either look for a place you can defend effectively (welding doors etc) or try to keep moving!

Go back to black ops LOL:rolleyes:

i HATE black ops and the horrible franchise it stands for. never played it, nor have i played mw2, or moh etc, i dont buy into that crap, i prefer new, innovative games, like tf2, deadspace, portal, stalker etc.

Killing Floor isn't like any game you've played before, the zombies will destroy you if you let them get near you and you definitely can't venture out on your own.

It's all about finding a good team and holding up in a good position, you were unlucky to find a crap server with team killers. I don't know about the graphics though, I really like them along with the gun sounds and oh boy those headshots :D

How can you hate BLOPS / MoH if you have never played them?

Killing floor is excellent, it's definitely one of my favorite games I own on the PC. I could never get into left 4 dead.

KF is good fun as people have said.. give it a chance.

The game can go from 'being comfortable in a group, in a nice defensive slot' to 'panic and chaos' within minutes as the Zombies start to flood in.

Its 'Zulu'esuqe (if you have seen the film) in some ways, holding out as they rush you... plus the variety in Zombies is what mixes things up as you get into it.

Also if the vanilla levelling up annoys you at first, try some modded servers. There is one that allows upto 64 players iirc and you have like 3000 Zombies to kill, gets absolutely nuts at times.... but all weapons are unlocked, so you can play about with things and get an idea of what route to take.

ahh stop hating on me folks, only saying how i dont appreciate killing floor, i listed very valid points.

surprised im actually being scrutinised over everything im saying, yeah i think tf2 is pretty damn brilliant, fair enough, to you might not be new and innovative, but considering im new to modern gaming as a whole i find it almost ingenious, racked up over 140 hours of playtime since i got i in sale not long ago.

no ive never played black ops but im sure you can see why for yourself, but ill say why anyway.

poorly coded
port - might as well be
sucky textures
over hyped
one big massive commercial franchise
i dont fall into the demographics despite being a 20 year old lad, because i like games with substance and flair.

but regardless, KF is not my cup of tea.
