Cant wait its out in 5 days :)
Anyone else getting it
ive finished the first one and thought it was brilliant.
the whole game series has an excellent story to it and i cant wait to play GOW2 :)

You will love it! It only improves upon everything you love about God Of War! :D
 
I just bought a cheap ps2 recently to try out god of war its a great game, and number 2 is just round the corner, good times :)
 
Got hold of God of War I from ebay to try as heard its good. Runs fine on PS3, and hookes am I.

Can't wait for Number 2, Sony already say runs fine on PS3
 
I got GoW 2 special edition today :)

Comes with a bonus disc and a cardboard box...

An independant sold it to me early, they didnt even try and play dum to the fact it wasnt released yet. The woman serving me told me it wasnt out yet as she bagged it up :)

Havent had play yet will do in a mo though.

I just bought this second hand. I am just on the 2nd or 3rd level (Road to Athens I think). This game is amazing, I am sure I am only about 2 hours into it but it is like a crazy mix of Devil May Cry with Greek Mythology. There is no loading sceens in the game as it all appears to be streamed. Best of all it looks AMAZING on PS3, I have only tried a few other ps2 games but they look rubbish but this looks almost hidef somehow.

I'm probably gonna get the sequel, just based on the first 2 ours of the first game !!

Off to play it for a bit.. ;)

High Definition Mode
This code is entered any time before the "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents" screen. The letters on that screen will turn purple if done correctly.

L1, L2, L3, Circle and Square simultaneously :)
 
That's NOT in the EU version. It's for the NTSC versions, which give it 480p. The European version defaults to 576p on PS3 consoles already !

so that will actually improve the game on the PS3?
 
yay just this second finished it on normal :)
The last boss wasnt as hard as he should have been, infact the the last boss in the first GOW was harder. Overall thought it was a brilliant game cant wait for the third one on the ps3 :)
